英会話タイムトライアル 3/4 (月)～3/6(水) 備忘録
今回は be good with something / someone
の言い方が勉強になりました。
be good with your hands = 手先が器用
be good with people = 人当たりがいい
be good with compliments = 太鼓持ち
be good with words = 話し上手
などなど応用もききそうです。
また、「～するのは初めてです」という時、
私は This is my first time to ~ . と
to do を使っていたのですが
This is the first time I've ~. のように
主語＋完了形を続けるほうが良いのですね。
口に馴染ませないといけないので
何度も音読しなくては！！

昔は卓球が得意でした
昔は赤い車を運転していました
私の父は手先が器用です
私は手先が器用でありません
手先が器用ですか？
私は子供が苦手です

→ 今したいかどうかを聞く場合には be interested in。店員さんが実際によく使う言葉。

→ I read. と現在形で伝えます
I sometimes go to art museums.
I follow European football.
→ to followは、興味があって最新の状況をよくチェックしているという意味。スポーツやエンタメにも使える
I’m a fan of mystery novels.
I’m a fan of yours.
I’m a big fan of high school baseball.
My dad is a huge fan of the Tigers.
My mom follows volleyball and she is a huge fan of the Japan team.
