お見舞い申し上げます
北海道胆振東部地震で被害に遭われた皆様に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。一日も早く元の生活に戻れますようにお祈りしております。
A strong earthquake rocked a place called Hokkaido in Japan in the very early morning yesterday. The magnitude was 6.7. And it turned out that the earthquake reached the maximum 7 on Japan's siesmic intensity scale later that day.
Many people were injured and some houses were crushed by massive mudslide.
A lot of people still live without electricity and runnign water. Some public transportation services have been suspended.
The news was very troubling. I feel for the people and their pets there.
If I were living in that area, I wouldn't know what to do.
岡山ではペットと同行避難できる避難所があったのですが、北海道にも同じような避難所が開設されるといいな。
ペットを飼っている私たちには避難所の問題は切実です。
そして、「通電火災」。初めて知りました。怖いですね。
