be dumbfounded

be dumbfounded = can't speak becasue of surprise or shock

"at a loss for words" もよく使うそうです。

I'm at a loss for words. = I can't think of any words to say.

headlines.yahoo.co.jp

I was dumbfounded when I saw an older man feeding crows in the early morning.

They were gathering from all over the place to get the food.

I think he's trying to tame them.

My friend told me that crows can remeber human faces,

so if you feed them,

they recognize that you help them and they become a littel more friendly.

I heard that crows are smart enough to do some puzzles,

but I don't know they could recognize human faces.
